Community energy
Get involved
This webinar will cover:
- how to use the Future Energy Landscapes (FEL) toolkit to run community engagement workshops in your area
- key learnings from delivering FEL in practice
Who is this webinar for?
Anyone interested in running FEL in their area is very welcome to join the webinar. This could include:
- local authorities
- town or parish councils
- climate action and community energy groups, or similar community activists
About this project
FEL starts community-wide conversations about renewable energy developments that could be owned by and benefit local people. It’s a bottom-up community engagement process, giving everyone the opportunity to share their thoughts about potential renewable energy plans. This ensures any plans or policies will be community-aligned and have social consent.
CSE has delivered FEL in over 25 communities over the last five years. This toolkit brings together the learnings from this work.
The project is funded by the Ofgem Energy Industry Voluntary Redress Scheme, which funds projects that make a difference to energy consumers, including those promoting cleaner energy.
What if I'm interested but can't come?
We'll record the webinar and share the slides afterwards with everyone signed up, so please register for a free spot to receive those.
If you are having technical issue joining or during the webinar, please contact communities@cse.org.uk.
